The creation of the animated GIF has changed my life for forever. I use GIFs so often people are convinced that I have a stockpile of GIFs on my phone and computer. Both of which are true. Now, you will be hard pressed to find a person that completely hates animated GIFs, which is why they would make for perfect computer desktop backgrounds.
Jun 17, 2016 After some brief teasing, Blizzard finally unveiled Overwatch’s 27th hero yesterday and I’m already crazy hyped to play her on live. Brigitte is a Tank-Healer hybrid, and so far she's fantastic. People can't understand that the job's damage is lower than most other DPS because it gives another DPS 10%ish increase to damage. NIN has this problem too I suppose because its currently doing comparable damage to DNC and does have a dmg increase debuff but its melee so the damage will only be comparable to DNC if it can keep 100% uptime. Increase Dmg based on HP ratio. Overall the selling points here are the enormous amounts of critical strike and accuracy gain. Also eith more HP you could easily now tank it you wanted or could strip the radiant enchantment you may have in defensive slots for something else you need. Most likely defense or critical avoidance. Jul 16, 2019 WAKFU MMORPG. General Discussions. Play for Free! Browse forums. While it is super easy to get an animated wallpaper on your iPhone, it is not as easy for your Mac desktop. But “not easy”, does not mean impossible. We are going to show you how to get cool animated GIFs for your computer wallpaper.
Download the GIFPaper app from Dropbox (link found via Reddwit) and extract the content to a local folder. Double-click the GIFPaperPrefs.prefPane file, go to your Mac’s System Preferences and double-click GIFPaperPref to launch the actual app.
How to Use an Animated GIF as Wallpaper in Mac OS X with GIFPaper
The first thing you will need to do is find the free app GIFPaper. This is NOT an approved app by any means. If you are not too excited to download and app from outside the app store or from a developer you are not sure of, please do not download the app.
Step 1.
When you do download the app, it will appear on your computer as a zipped file, so you will need to unzip it in order to access the program. Once unzipped open the GIFPaperPrefs file.

In the preference panel find a GIF on your computer using the browse feature. You can adjust the settings from this panel as well. If working properly you will see the GIF in the preview panel on the left.
Step 3.
The wallpaper should begin immediately after it uploads into the preference panel. If that does not work you can install the GIFPaper app and upload the GIF as a wallpaper that way.
Step 4.
Enjoy you new animated wallpaper! Since there is an animation constantly running in the background it will force your CPU to work harder than usual.
And remember you can change out these GIFs anytime you want and even use Live Photos for it as well.
Step 5.
To uninstall GIFPaper, open up System Preferences and right-click on the GifPaper icon. It’s transparent, but it should be near the bottom of the menu.
Then, open Activity Monitor, find GIFPaperAgent and Quit it. That’s it.

While how to pronounce the pseudo-word “GIF” is still widely debated, there’s no debate that a new jailbreak tweak is always welcome. GIFPaper, a recently-released tweak that lets you set any animated GIF image as your device wallpaper, is definitely one of the neatest additions to iOS that has come from the jailbreak community lately.
Make your wallpaper come to life with GIFPaper! GIFPaper allows you to set animated GIF images as your devices wallpaper. Set them on your home screen, lock screen, or both. Set any GIF wallpaper by holding down on the GIF in Safari, and then selecting “Set Wallpaper” from the menu that appears. You can also set a GIF wallpaper by typing in its URL on the GIFPaper settings page. GIFPaper is perfect for anyone who wants an exciting, animated wallpaper!
After installing the tweak, head over to the Settings app to configure it. You’ll find a new section called “GIFPaper” and within there you’ll find a variety of options to set your GIF wallpapers up however you’d like. First, there’s a kill switch as seen in the settings section for most tweaks. Below that, you’ll find a field to input the URL of the GIF you want to use, as well as a couple of options to configure how that GIF appears.
First, you’ll see “Wallpaper Mode” which gives you the three wallpaper modes you’ve come to know and love with default iOS wallpapers; pick from “Home Screen”, “Lock Screen”, or “Both” in this menu. Below that, you’ll see an option to set the “Scaling Mode” of the GIF, meaning how the GIF appears when activated. In “Scale to Fit” mode, the GIF will stay its normal size and fit within the width of the screen. “Scale to Fill” makes sure the GIF fits vertically, stretching it.
One of the coolest parts of this tweak, though, is how easy it is to set a GIF as your wallpaper. Within the Safari browser, you can navigate to any GIF on the internet and tap and hold to be presented with an option to “Set Wallpaper” as seen in the screenshots above. After tapping this option, you’ll be asked which wallpaper mode you’d like and then within a few seconds that GIF will be working as expected.
The tweak does a great job of doing what it’s supposed to do; after setting a GIF to be both my Home Screen and Lock Screen wallpaper, I found that unlocking the phone caused absolutely no graphical glitches at all. The process of downloading a GIF and getting everything set up is a breeze, and so far I haven’t noticed any dramatic decrease in battery life.
GIFPaper is available in the Cydia Store for $1.00, and isn’t currently compatible with iPad. Also of note, the developer says that GIFPaper “doesn’t play nice with the WinterBoard tweak.”
